AP2000 Latest Car Stereo Amplifier

You can give a West Cost style to your car audio system with the California Series of amplifiers that are designed by Profile. These perfectly brushed aluminum and chrome amplifiers might look expensive, so you might not believe your eyes when you check out the price of the amplifier. You would receive high end features like a brushed aluminum case, gold plated outputs, variable filters and a warranty period of three years all for less than you expected.

The AP2000 amplifier from Profile is designed with a bright red power light strip at the top center of the unit that indicates that the amplifier is turned on. The power light strip consists of eight LEDs of 6-5/16 inch long strip. The green LED light on the speaker or power terminal side of the amplifier would also light to indicate if the power is sent to the amplifier. This amplifier also includes dual MOSFET power supply to offer more stable output. The wired remote control of the amplifier allows you to adjust the level of the amplifier. This remote is designed to be fixed under the dash in order to control them from the driver̢۪s seat.

The Profile AP2000 amplifier features an external high level to low level converter to let you connect the amplifier to a factor radio or a receiver without any RCA preamp outputs. There is also a pair of RCA line outputs that send the unfiltered signal to another component without disturbing the signal. The amplifier also features an in built variable low pass filter with the slop of 12dB octave. This low pass filter is constantly variable between 50-250 Hz. The two-way switch of the amplifier lets you choose between full range or low pass operation. Apart from this, there are three types of protection circuits of the amplifier, short circuit, DC offset and thermal protection. You will see the red LED on the left side of the amplifier glow to indicate that the amplifier has turned to protection mode.
